BD Exoplanets

Created by astronomers from the Observatory of the UNIGE Faculty of Science, this educational project introduces young and old to astronomy.

Volume 1: a comic book recounting the discovery of the first exoplanet in 1995 by Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz, winners of the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physics. This is the subject of the first volume in the Salomé - La Bande Dessinée d'Aventure et de Sciences series.

Volume 2: In this second volume, the "Salomé" series takes you to the Atacama Desert in Chile to discover the La Silla observation site.

Volume 3: a new mission takes the children in the Salomé comic strip to the Bernese Oberland, to the top of the largest glacier in the Alps, where they learn about the greenhouse effect and global warming.
